How does it work?

Let's connect

We connect on Zoom or Skype with or without video, as you prefer.

You are invited for an initial online session, free of charge, so that I can get a better understanding of what you need and so you can get an impression of me as a therapist. If we agree to work together, we then schedule the next sessions straight away.

I recommend that you commit to a minimum of 3 sessions after which we take stock of the progress of our work together. The sessions are 50 min. long.

My consultation hours are predominantly within the European, African and Middle Eastern time zones, but I try my best to accommodate other time zones too. I work in English and Danish. I understand and speak Dutch conversational.

Do online sessions work?

We all got used to working differently over the last 2 years. Traditionally, therapy has taken place in the consulting room of the therapist. Online based therapy sessions offer greater flexibility and convenience for the client particularly for those in remote areas. Most studies show an equal effect of online therapy and counselling compared to face-to-face therapy.

Payment and fees

You pay for the sessions via the link I send to you. You can cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment otherwise you will need to pay the full fee. I have reduced rates for students and jobseekers.

Insurance companies often cover most of the cost of the treatment. I recommend that you check with your insurance company before you start your treatment.
